- Nelson Mandela was born in 1918 July 18th in Mvezo a village near Mthatha in the Trskei and he died in 2013 Decmber 13th in thoughton Estate, South Africa, Age 95. He give the freedoom to people in South Africa. Nelson Mandela is a hero because he spend half on his life in prison fighting for Soulth Africa.
